ABOUT
Dr. Kang P. Tee, DACM, LAc, DiplOM

I am fascinated by the interconnection of meridian systems of the human body and treat the human body as one holistic system. My clinical experience and interests include:
My passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) started in 2009 after my car accident that injured my back and neck. At that time, I went through a series of conventional treatment but was told that either pain killer medications or spinal surgeries were the answers to relieve my pain and numbness symptoms. I did not accept those answers so I gave alternative medicine a try. I was fortunate to have the first-hand experience of acupuncture treatment which was helpful to relieve my symptoms. In addition to my already 10+ years of engineering background, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in TCM while I was working full time, because I wanted to learn and share the effectiveness of TCM treatment that I've had with everyone. Today, I enjoy sharing the TCM knowledge, educating my patients on TCM treatment principles, and have successfully helped my patients reach their health goals and improved their life quality.
I am continuously studying with world class TCM masters including Dr. Jeffrey Yuen, an international master scholar in Classical Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture; attended courses by the late Master Dr. Wei-Chieh Young, a disciple and apprentice of the late Great Master Tung; Dr. Whitfield Reaves, a forefront practitioner in Sports Medicine Acupuncture; and Ms. Ann Cecil-Sterman, LAc, a renowned author and practitioner for Advanced Acupuncture. I am also a disciple of Dr. Alice K. Yan, LAc, who has 40 years of combined experience as an Acupuncture practitioner and Western medicine midwife.
I have been a vegetarian for 30 years. I enjoy hiking, taking photographs with my smartphone (check out my social medias at Facebook and Instagram), listening to music, going to the movies, playing tennis, swimming, and skiing. I am multilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokka).
